Privacy Policy

Last updated August 6, 2026.

Cutout removes backgrounds from images you upload. This page explains exactly what data we collect to do that, how long we keep it, and who else ever sees it.

1. What we collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google’s authentication service. We do not receive or store your Google password.

When you upload a photo from your device, we store the original file, the background-removed result, and basic metadata (filename, dimensions, upload date, processing status) tied to your account.

When you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment processor, Stripe, collects your card details directly — we never see or store your full card number.

2. How we use it

Account data (name, email, avatar) identifies you when you sign in and appears in your account menu.

Uploaded images are sent to our AI background-removal processor to generate the transparent-PNG result you requested, then saved to your private library so you can re-download or delete them later.

Billing data is used only to process your subscription and show your current plan and renewal date.

3. Who we share it with

Google — to authenticate your sign-in. We only receive the profile fields listed above.

Our AI image-processing provider — receives the image you upload, solely to remove its background. It is not used to train models on your content.

Stripe — handles payment processing for paid plans. Stripe’s own privacy policy governs card data.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share your images with any other third party.

4. How long we keep it

Your uploaded images and their processed results are kept until you delete them from your library or close your account.

Account records are kept for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your images and account row are permanently removed from our database.

5. Your choices

You can delete any image from your library at any time — deletion is immediate and permanent.

You can cancel a paid subscription at any time from account settings; you keep access until the end of the current billing period.

To request a full export or deletion of your account data, contact us at the address below.

6. Security

Images and account data are stored in a database isolated to this application. Access to your library requires an authenticated session tied to your Google account.

7. Contact

Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to the account owner via the sign-in email on file for this app.
